Bruce McQuain, Chief Operating Officer
A former infantry officer who spent 28 years on active duty and in the reserves, Bruce retired as a lieutenant colonel. A graduate of the prestigious US Army Ranger school and a former paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division, he ended his career as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations and Intelligence (G2/3) for the 87th Division. He has an extensive background in both operations and intelligence and is a graduate of the United States Army Command and General Staff College.
Bruce also has 30 years of business experience, working in various capacities with United Technologies, Spectronics and Konica Minolta. He was part of a technology company that developed application software for the printing industry in the late ‘80s – then a brand-new field.
His online pursuits and interaction began back in the early ‘90s with the advent of bulletin board systems. Bruce has watched the need for social interaction blossom from the private dial-up systems of that era to the vast possibilities of the internet. He has been an editor and writer on political topics since 2003 at the popular Questions and Observations blog. He also writes on military topics at one of the top military blogs, BlackFive. He’s also a contributor at the Washington Examiner. Additionally he has helped bring the blogosphere to the traditional media doing a weekly half hour segment on WRKOam 680 in Boston on the popular Pundit Review radio show. The segment, “Someone You Should Know”, began on BlackFive and tells stories of valor from the Iraq and Afghan wars.
He has worked with new media companies as an independent contractor on various outreach and research projects.
Michael Wade, Esq., Chief Legal Officer
A graduate of Washington & Lee University and George Mason University School of Law, Michael Wade has practiced law in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area since 2001, and has been writing in the blogosphere since 2002. Working primarily with businesses, Michael has advised his clients on, and helped to form successful strategies for, all manner situations including public relations, due diligence research, capital formation and choice of entity, in addition to providing general legal counsel services. Michael is also an editor and writer for the political commentary web log QandO, for which he co-hosts the weekly Observations show on Blog Talk Radio with Dale and Bruce. In addition, Michael is a local and national political writer for the Washington Examiner.
In a media world of instant information, where messaging is so important, Michael’s research and writing experience is invaluable. Whether it is head-on issue advocacy, or fact and logic based rebuttals to political attacks, Michael offers the ability to quickly and accurately grasp subjects and produce simple, intelligible arguments in favor of his clients.
Dale Franks, Chief Information Officer
Dale Franks is the former host of “The Business Day”, a daily, four-hour business and financial news program on KMNY Radio in Los Angeles. From 2002-2004, he was a contributor on military and international affairs for TechCentralStation.com, and from 2004-2006 was publisher and editor of the online politics journal, The New Libertarian. Currently, he is an editor and writer for the popular web log, Q and O, for which he produces a weekly podcast.
Dale served on active duty in the United States Air Force’s Security Police as a military policeman, Air Base Ground Defense Specialist, and Technical Training Instructor from 1984 to 1993, in variety of assignments both in the United States and in Europe, including an assignment to the staff of Headquarters of Allied Forces Central Europe.
In addition to broadcasting, writing, and speaking on various topics, Dale has also been a long-time technical training instructor on a variety of computer software and technology subjects. Dale has also long been involved with information technology as an accomplished web designer, programmer, and technologist. Additionally, he is the author of a number of software user guides used for classroom training by one of Southern California’’s premier computer training and consulting firms.
Dale has written extensively on politics and economics for a number of outlets. His book, SLACKERNOMICS: Basic Economics for People Who Find Economics Boring, a basic economics primer for the layman, is available from Barnes & Noble.
Dale is a Certified Master of Business Administration (CMBA), which is a professional certification available only to graduates of an accredited Master’s of Business Administration degree program. He is also a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
